In short: we collect what you send us and basic visit statistics. We don't sell it, we don't use it for advertising, and you can ask us to show you, correct or delete it at any time.
Markspeed is an independent growth systems consultancy based in Vancouver, British Columbia. We are responsible for the personal information described on this page.
We handle it in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where it applies, British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act. Questions, requests and complaints go to hello@markspeed.ai and are answered by the founder.
We collect only what we need for the purposes below.

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and to see which pages and buttons people use. It sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier, and records the pages you view, the buttons you click, your device and browser, and an approximate location. Google Analytics 4 doesn't log or store individual IP addresses.
We look at this data in aggregate. We don't use it to identify individual visitors, and we don't use it for advertising or retargeting. Event-level data is kept for at most 14 months.
You can opt out by blocking cookies in your browser or by installing Google's opt-out browser add-on. The rest of the site works the same either way. The scheduling service on our Contact page may set its own cookies so that booking works.
We use a small number of service providers to run the site and the business. They handle your information only to provide their service to us:
We don't sell personal information. We have no commission, referral-fee or revenue-share arrangements with any agency, vendor or platform, so nobody receives your details in exchange for anything. We disclose information only to the providers above, to you, or where the law requires it.
Clients give us read-only access to the accounts where their marketing runs, exports of their inquiries, and their invoices. A mutual NDA is signed before any of it changes hands.
When the engagement ends, your records are returned or deleted at your instruction.
Some of our providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held in another country is subject to that country's laws, and its courts or authorities may be able to access it.

If you got a message from us before you found this site, we took your business contact details from public sources — for example your company's website, business directories and public advertising libraries — and wrote to you about something specific to your business.
We use business contact details only to write to you about your business. Every message says who we are and how to stop them. Reply "stop", or email hello@markspeed.ai, and we won't write again. To keep that promise, we keep your email address on a do-not-contact list.
You can ask us at any time to tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we've used it, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop contacting you. You can also withdraw your consent to how we use it, and we'll tell you if that affects anything we can do for you.
Email hello@markspeed.ai. We answer within 30 days, and we may need to confirm who you are first. We can't delete records the law requires us to keep, such as invoices, and we'll tell you when that's the case.
We limit access to the founder and the providers listed above, and we use providers that encrypt information in transit. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will tell you and the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, as the law requires.
If we haven't resolved a concern, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, for matters within British Columbia, the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
When we change this page, we update the date at the top. We won't use information you've already given us in a materially different way without telling you first.
