Markspeed (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates markspeed.ai and related services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Diagnostic intake responses submitted through our GSRI Quick Scan or Growth Readiness Audit intake form (via Typeform)
- Name and email address when you submit a form or schedule a session
- Business information you share during an engagement (company name, revenue range, team size, growth challenges)
- Communications sent to us by email
Information collected automatically:
- Usage data via Google Analytics 4 (pages visited, session duration, referral source)
- Device and browser information (type, operating system, screen size)
- IP address and approximate geographic location (country/region level)
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 5)
Information we do not collect: We do not collect payment card information directly. Payments are processed by third-party providers (Stripe) under their own privacy policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To deliver the GSRI diagnostic report and Growth Readiness Audit you requested
- To schedule and conduct strategy sessions via Calendly
- To send your diagnostic score, bottleneck identification, and follow-up materials by email
- To send 30-day and 90-day outcome follow-up emails as part of our benchmark data capture process (you can opt out at any time)
- To improve our diagnostic framework and benchmark database using aggregated, anonymized data
- To analyze website traffic and optimize user experience via Google Analytics
- To communicate about your engagement and respond to your questions
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information to serve you third-party advertising.
3. Benchmark Database
Markspeed maintains a proprietary benchmark database built from client engagement data. Information stored in this database is aggregated and anonymized — it is used to generate benchmark comparisons for future clients and to improve diagnostic accuracy. No personally identifiable information (name, company name, email) is retained in the benchmark database. Engagement data is stored as: industry segment, revenue range, business model, GSRI dimension scores, top bottleneck identified, and outcome metrics at 30 and 90 days post-engagement.
4. Information Sharing
We share information only with the following categories of service providers, solely to deliver our services:
- Typeform — intake form processing and data collection
- Calendly — session scheduling
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Airtable — engagement and benchmark data storage
- Notion — client workspace delivery
- Google Analytics — website traffic analysis
- Stripe — payment processing (subject to Stripe’s own privacy policy)
We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Markspeed, our clients, or others.
5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve our website. The cookies we use fall into these categories:
- Strictly necessary: Required for the website to function. Cannot be disabled.
- Analytics: Google Analytics cookies to understand how visitors interact with our site. You can opt out via Google’s opt-out tool.
- Third-party: Typeform and Calendly may set cookies when you interact with their embedded tools.
Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. Disabling analytics cookies does not affect your ability to use our services.
6. Data Retention
- Diagnostic intake responses and engagement records: retained for 3 years from the date of engagement
- Anonymized benchmark data: retained indefinitely as part of our benchmark database
- Email communications: retained for 2 years
- Website analytics data: retained per Google Analytics default settings (26 months)
You may request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at the address below.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information
- Opt-out of follow-up emails: Unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send
- Data portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format
California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request deletion, and to opt out of sale (we do not sell personal information).
Canadian residents (PIPEDA): You have the right to access your personal information and to challenge its accuracy. We handle personal information in compliance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.
8. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), access controls on our internal tools, and limited access on a need-to-know basis. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites and services (Typeform, Calendly, LinkedIn). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
10. Children’s Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately.
