This site describes how we work and what our engagements include. Nothing on it is a quote or an offer that you can accept. Booking a call creates no obligation on either side. An engagement begins only when you and we have both signed a written scope and fee.
Every engagement runs under a written scope and fee and a mutual NDA, agreed before any work or access begins. Those documents set out fees, payment, timing, confidentiality, cancellation and what each of us is responsible for. Where they differ from anything on this site, they apply to that engagement.
We assess a company's growth system and specify what it should be. We don't build or run it, and we don't guarantee business outcomes such as revenue, leads or savings: those depend on what you and your vendors do with the specification, and on conditions no one controls.
The content of this site is general information. It isn't legal, tax, accounting, financial or investment advice, and our assessments are made only for clients, under an engagement, from the records they provide.
The Free Scan is a self-assessment we offer without charge or obligation. Its results are for information only. They aren't advice, and they don't replace an assessment made under an engagement. By completing it you agree that we may use your answers to prepare your report and to follow up with you about it, as described on the Privacy page.
The text, design and code of this site, and the Markspeed name and logo, belong to Markspeed. You're welcome to read the site and share links to it. Please don't copy or republish it, or use our name or logo, without written permission.
What we produce for a client — the written specification and report — belongs to that client, as set out in the engagement's written scope. We keep ownership of our own methods, templates and tools.
Please don't try to break, probe or overload the site, use automated tools to copy its content, or use the site or our contact details to send us unsolicited commercial messages. Please don't send us anything unlawful.
Confidential business records don't belong in the contact channels. We set up a secure way to share them once an NDA is signed.
The site links to, and embeds, services we don't control, including the scheduling service on the Contact page. We aren't responsible for their content or practices, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.
We take care over what we publish, but the site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Markspeed isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profit or revenue, arising from your use of or reliance on this site. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that can't legally be limited.
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of British Columbia have jurisdiction over any dispute about these terms or this site. Disputes about an engagement are governed by that engagement's written scope.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms. Engagements are governed by the documents signed at the time.
